Monthly Video Podcast
Sell Like A Human is a monthly video series where Daniel Pink and special guests will solve your biggest sales challenges. In a profession as fast paced as sales it can be challenging to hit quota and provide an experience for your buyer that is valued. But in today’s world, salespeople can only be truly successful if they remember to sell like a human. In this series, you choose the topic you care most about, and world renowned experts will share their insights on how to master it in under 30 minutes. Simple as that!
How “Sell Like A Human” Came About
Lisa Toner, Senior Manager of Content Strategy for Hubspot said, “We were sitting in a meeting room with our thinking caps on, double espressos in hand, trying to figure out the best way to help you learn and grow on the go … when a moment of clarity struck us. If we want to know what salespeople want, we should just ask! We did, and we learned they don’t want to listen to a podcast or ask questions live on air, but video? Sales professionals are all about that!
Our final task was a big one: We needed to find a host for the show. We needed someone who sales professionals respect, trust, and want to listen to. But with so many awesome and influential sales leaders in the world, how did we choose just one? Last year we ran a virtual event last year called Inbound Sales Day. The event had 15,000 registered attendees and awesome sessions from thirty-five speakers. One presentation stood trees above the rest in popularity and engagement. That session was called “How to Deal with Rejection: Lessons from Social Science,” and was delivered by Daniel Pink. We heard salespeople loud and clear! To kick off our video show, we’ve invited the one and only sales mastermind Daniel Pink to be the host of Sell Like A Human.”
The second episode is now live with special guest Seth Godin talking about prospecting for modern humans – a new approach.
If you want to learn how to Sell Like a Human in today’s world, then I highly recommend this series.
